"BARRAS BRAVAS"
"Barras bravas"
I find interesting this topic because at some point of my life, i was from any "barra brava"
Throughout all my teenage years i went to Universidad Católica's football match.
My dad always like this team, he liked to see the football matchs and only that, not like go to the stadium to see the games. However, football always caught my eye. At some point i wanted to belong a some team so i could practice it but i never entered one.
All started when i was 12 or 13 years, when my dad invited me to the stadium. I went to many games. I saw when Catolica come champion a couple of years and when they lost to Universidad de Chile at 2011 in the national stadium. In that match, i cried over the loss of the match, at that level of fanatic.
During all that thime i could live the feeling of what it means to be part of a football fan, and yes, maybe i put all of the colors but the feeling of be a part of football fan its real. In truth many times to be there singing, "encouraging" the team, sharing goals and too much with the rest of the audience is an emotion that is only lived in the stadium.
Still, it was a just phase in my life and i remember in very beatiful way. In the last few years i went to see Colo Colo a couple of times, as a guest, and i had a good time anyway, but at the level of satisfaction i had at some point when i saw the Universidad Católica.
Personally i like football a lot, especially the friends match in a day in the afternoon. I enjoy watch the game. Buuuuuuuuuut i hate the match broadcast in the TV, i don't like "La Roja" and is not to me a important event (when they play) or something i desire to see, not like other people.
I like the neighborhood football match, friends match (i would say girl friends, but i don't have girl friends who play football), i like the big and small teams.
For all of the above i understand all the feeling in the fans team football, but i will never agree on the fights and violence that happen between teams, it's so stupid. I understand the passion but is not a reason to fight between people who share a passion but from different teams, i repeat... it's so stupid.
